Top State High School Championship Teams In CA, IL, NC, NJ, NY, OH, And WI in 2012.

St. Benedict’s Prep in Newark, N.J. ended their undefeated season with an 18-0 record, and a number

one national ranking for all hs boys soccer teams across the country. Jesuit HS in Carmichael CA

followed in the number 2 position in national rankings with a great 27-1 record in 2012. Ranked number

3 was 25-0 Wesleyan Christian Academy in High Point NC with an undefeated season and 3A state

title. National ranked 4th was St. Xavier in KY,with 27-0 record. Number 5 was Arlington NY with 22-1

and Marquette University High School in Wisc. came in #6 with 23-1. The 7th ranked team Peoria Notre

Dame HS in Peoria IL had a great season closing out with 22 wins and only 2 loses. Number 8,9,10

came from Gonzaga in DC, Liberty HS in Ohio, and Martin Luther King Jr. in New York all had fantastic

2012 fall seasons and state titles. Congrads to the top 10 and all the state champions from 2012,

Undefeated Girls High School Soccer Teams From Kansas, Iowa, And Oklahoma

 

 

 

 

 

 

Undefeated, what a great season for all these top 5 teams in the country. 21-0 Kansas state champs

Olathe East had huge run with Emily Jorgenson, Laura Schnell, Kirsty Corder and the whole Hawks

team in 2012. Ankeny HS in Iowa, now 20-0 and a state final to be played, sits in the top 5 also in the

nation. Coach Chris Allen has to be proud of this Hawks team. Sounds like a good thing to have a hawk

as your mascot. In Oklahoma, the 3rd ranked team in the nation was the Bishop Kelley Comets.

After 27 games with out a loss, and 17-0 this season, Troy Tokarchik’s girls team got their 13th state title in the last 14 years in the class 6A division.

Comets Goal Keeper Kaela Little named Gatorade Player of The Year in Oklahoma.

North Carolina has a new powerhouse in Girls High School Soccer, Hough Huskies !

In just 2 years of playing, this team has won 41 or it’s last 42 matches in NC state.

Allison Stearns, Brandi Arey, Hannah Robinson, Morgan Byrne, Courtney Carroll and

goal keeper Marnie Merritt are just some of the names to watch in the future of soccer.

Out scoring their opponents to a tune of 114 to 12 goals allowed, shows how dominating they are.

Ranked Number One in the country with a 26-0-1 record in 2012, watch out for 2013 next spring.

Naperville North Girls bring home the 3A IL. State Championship and completes a 24-1-2 season.

Coach Steve Goletz should be very proud of this solid team, a huge shut out for the state title.

Big defensive battle between St. Charles North and The Huskies of Naperville North. The last

42 seconds of over 120 minutes of action is when Hunter Drendel set up Christa Szalach for the

Green Hope Soccer Team Wins North Carolina State Championship

The 4A state champion in North Carolina are the Falcons of Green Hope. R Ortiz scored a huge goal
for the Falcons, and retiring Coach Andrew Chadwick in 2011. With that overtime goal,
lifting the Falcons to a 2-1 score, beating Myers Park in the final game and state title. The Falcons
had many come from behind victories through out the year, but this was the biggest. Coach Chadwick,
had announced his retirement from coaching before the season started.
After 10 years of coaching the Falcons, this was his send off. He finishes with
185 wins to only 44 loses. Ending up with a North Carolina State Championship on his

Conestoga PA Soccer Champ 2011 Undefeated Season

Undefeated 2011 season and a Pennsylvania Class AAA state champion, Conestoga had a great year.
T Donnie’s goal in the second half, which was orchestrated by A. Connors and N. Laganelli, was all
Conestoga needed to defeat Upper St. Clair 1-0 and secure the state title, putting the icing on an
undefeated season. The last time a class AAA school went undefeated in PA, was Upper St. Clair.
Conestoga had huge wins over Central Dauphin, Lower Merion, Strath Haven and Council Rock North.

DeMatha Soccer Champs in Maryland Second Undefeated Season

DeMatha HS Varsity Soccer Team finished their second consecutive perfect
season by beating Gonzaga. WCAC Champion, DeMatha got two
quick goals and beat Gonzaga (Washington, D.C.) in the second half
for a 2-1 win in the final to insure a perfect season. The Stags have won 44 consecutive
games. The underclassmen S Cowdrey, C Odoi Atsem, D Brandt, and senior defender M Parker
anchored a defense that only gave up eight goals this 2011 season.
DeMatha’s biggest victory was a shootout win against Jesuit (Carmichael, Calif.)
after a tight game ending in a 1-1 draw. PK’s won it for DeMatha and at the end of
the year they held the MD Championship and State Title. [Read more…]

Great 2011 season for MLK High School Soccer Team with a 19-0 record and NY state title.

Ibrahim Diaby scored the game winner to lift Martin Luther King to a 3-2 victory over Francis Lewis

in the finals of NY state tournament. The win marked MLK’s 13th PSAL title in the past 16 seasons.

Tarek Beckles scored giving MLK a 1-0 lead and then Kerfala Sylla scored for a 2-0 lead.

MLK is one of the top 6 teams in the whole nation. Congrads MLK in NY.

Marquette University High School Boys Soccer Team In Milwaukee, WI Are The 2011 State Champions

Marquette University H.S. wins the Wisconsin Division 1 state championship.

Patrick Hodan scored three goals in the MUHS 6 to zip state final victory.

Hodan finished the season with 45 goals and looking at playing for Norte Dame next season.

The Hilltoppers played some of the nation’s best teams this season, recording a 24-0-1 in 2011.

MUHS has wins over Rockhurst ( KC, Mo.), Gonzaga (D.C.), Lyons (LaGrange, Ill.)

and Granite Bay (Granite Bay, Calif.). The  3-3 draw with Jesuit (Carmichael, Calif.)was the only tie.

Next year looks great with six starters projected to return in 2012, and a chance to repeat.

NJ State Soccer Champions And The Top Ranked High School Soccer Team In The Nation

St. Benedict’s in New Jersey captured their 23rd straight high school boys soccer state title in 2011.

With a 24-0 record in the 2011 season made this NJ championship team the top ranked team in the nation.

Team leaders included Christiano Francios, who finished with 43 goals with 22 assists.

Cris Hernandez, who is going pro after the season, added 16 goals with 32 assists.

Pablo Perez scored 23 goals and Goal Keeper Thomas Bull  had 18 shutouts in goal.

The perfect season included nine wins over state-ranked programs from five states with a goal margin 45-3 .

For the season, St. Benedict’s scored 135 goals and surrendered six goals, two of them were penalty kicks.

The team out shot its opponents 494-49 during the season and earned 165 corner kicks while giving up only 12.
