St. Benedict’s in New Jersey captured their 23rd straight high school boys soccer state title in 2011.

With a 24-0 record in the 2011 season made this NJ championship team the top ranked team in the nation.

Team leaders included Christiano Francios, who finished with 43 goals with 22 assists.

Cris Hernandez, who is going pro after the season, added 16 goals with 32 assists.

Pablo Perez scored 23 goals and Goal Keeper Thomas Bull  had 18 shutouts in goal.

The perfect season included nine wins over state-ranked programs from five states with a goal margin 45-3 .

For the season, St. Benedict’s scored 135 goals and surrendered six goals, two of them were penalty kicks.

The team out shot its opponents 494-49 during the season and earned 165 corner kicks while giving up only 12.
