start in 2012. Many new indoor soccer changes all over Northern Illinois soccer with new and updated

facilities are underway. Here are four great reasons why indoor soccer is growing for players and teams

across many levels of play.

1. Indoor soccer uses less field players than outdoor soccer, therefore you get so many more touches playing the ball. More time with the ball, better skill development.

2. The passing and reaction time is so much faster, making one touch passing skill set in the indoor game so much more important to master as you get more time with the ball.

3. Conditioning and team relationships keep building as you go from outdoor season to indoor the whole team gets tighter. As players play more minutes together, reactions become second nature.

Undefeated Girls High School Soccer Teams From Kansas, Iowa, And Oklahoma

 

 

 

 

 

 

Undefeated, what a great season for all these top 5 teams in the country. 21-0 Kansas state champs

Olathe East had huge run with Emily Jorgenson, Laura Schnell, Kirsty Corder and the whole Hawks

team in 2012. Ankeny HS in Iowa, now 20-0 and a state final to be played, sits in the top 5 also in the

nation. Coach Chris Allen has to be proud of this Hawks team. Sounds like a good thing to have a hawk

as your mascot. In Oklahoma, the 3rd ranked team in the nation was the Bishop Kelley Comets.

After 27 games with out a loss, and 17-0 this season, Troy Tokarchik’s girls team got their 13th state title in the last 14 years in the class 6A division.

Comets Goal Keeper Kaela Little named Gatorade Player of The Year in Oklahoma.

Naperville North Girls bring home the 3A IL. State Championship and completes a 24-1-2 season.

Coach Steve Goletz should be very proud of this solid team, a huge shut out for the state title.

Big defensive battle between St. Charles North and The Huskies of Naperville North. The last

42 seconds of over 120 minutes of action is when Hunter Drendel set up Christa Szalach for the

Girls High School Soccer is Hot In Naperville And Wilmette Illinois.

Three of the top 7 teams in high school soccer are in the Chicago, Illinois area.

Loyola Academy is undefeated so far in 2012 with Tori Iatarola leading her team

with over 20 assists this season. Naperville Central, is not far from Loyola with only one

lost in the year so far, Naperville North is also ranking high in Illinois and across the nation.
