moving without the ball are so important in good winning soccer. Teaching the speed of the

game in drill situations is to be focused on, to make faster player reactions. Aggressive receiving

of the ball and moving toward the pass to keep opponents for taking away the ball is critical in building

solid possession soccer. As a rule, the team with them most time of possession wins the game.

Turning and moving with and without the ball is the drills purpose. Don’t hold the ball too long and don’t

stand flat-footed, always be on the balls for our feet moving to an open position to receive an open

Try playing fun games to get warmed up or break up too much of pressing type drills.

Do games like follow the leader, just have a coach or better skilled player dribble all over the

soccer field, the others follow for 3 to 5 minutes. Another is “hit the coach”, have the players try

to dribble and kick the ball at a moving target that is running away from them or parallel with them.

USA Womens Soccer Team Wins Over France 4-2 In The 2012 Olympics

 

 

 

 

 

Alex Morgan stole the show in the opening round of the 2012 Olympics, with 2 goals to put TEAM USA

up in the win column. It was a comeback, Abby Wambach scored for the US women after going down

2-0 in the first half. Then Alex Morgan and Carli Lloyd stepped up the heat for the fired up Americans,

to take the 4-2 match away from France.

The French team had won 17 international match’s prior to the Americans stealing this one from them.
